A liberal democratic regime has the following characteristics:
electoral system of organization of state bodies;
preservation of the sovereignty and freedoms of the people;
the presence of freedom of speech and self-expression;
the main role in the economy belongs to private property and free business;
free competition is possible on the market.
An important ideological characteristic of such a regime is the increased attention to the personality, its needs and manifestations. Liberalism implies the absence of suppression of the individual by the state.
