Signs of feudal fragmentation.

In the history of almost every state there is a period of feudal fragmentation. Its main feature is the weakening of the central authority. With political fragmentation, the various principalities, which used to be part of one whole, became isolated and pursued an independent domestic and foreign policy. They independently carried out reforms in their own principality, inheritance. They were also in charge of litigation, taxation, military force, reforms. The appanage princes made peace, declared war, and expanded their territories.
