Signs of the structure of dna and rna macromolecules?

DNA and RNA molecules are polymers, the monomers of which are nucleotides. Each nucleotide consists of a nitrogenous base, a carbohydrate, and a phosphoric acid residue.

The DNA molecule is a double helix, the RNA molecule consists of one polynucleotide chain.

There are 4 nitrogenous bases in the DNA molecule:

adenine A, thymine T, guanine G, cytosine C.

The RNA molecule contains uracil U instead of thymine.

Nucleotides are connected in pairs, complementary.

DNA: A – T; G – Ts.

RNA: A – U; G – Ts.

In DNA, the carbohydrate is deoxyribose (deoxyribonucleic acid), in RNA, ribose (ribonucleic acid).

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
