Similar features of the nature of North America and Russia.

Since most of the North American territories lie at the same latitudes as Russia, the nature of these two regions is very similar. This is also due to the fact that these two regions were previously united. For example, in these territories there is a taiga zone, south of which there are broad-leaved forests, and the north is covered with tundra. There are many large and small lakes and wetlands left over from the Ice Age. Permafrost zones are present in the polar lands on both continents.
