Similarities and differences between ancient Greek and modern theater.

In ancient Greek theater, only men could play;

The emotions of the actors were conveyed through masks;

Greek theaters were open-air and performances took place during the day;

In the Greek theater, mostly tragedies were played.

The only similarity between ancient and modern theater was that the action was staged. In a modern theater, women can play, the emotions are conveyed by the actors themselves, and so on.
