Similarities and differences between Germany and Italy after World War II.

After the Second World War, these countries found themselves in slightly different conditions. Germany, divided into 2 parts, was partly under the influence of the United States, partly under the control of the Soviet Union. Italy, which fought on Hitler’s side, but did not show such activity in Europe, was in more favorable conditions. She was allowed to preserve the democratic regime, since already during the war an active movement of resistance to fascism began in the country. Therefore, Italy, unlike Germany, did not lose statehood and integrity.
