Similarities and differences between the reforms of Alexander II and Stolypin.

The reforms of both the first and the second leader were aimed at eliminating serfdom. Under Alexander II, the peasants received the right to free themselves from dependence and receive an allotment of land. To do this, they had to pay a ransom payment, which would be set by the landowner. After the agrarian reform of Stolypin, it became necessary to leave the community, while the peasant was allocated land (free of charge), on which he had previously worked. There was also a policy of resettlement for the development of new lands, which was not the case during the reign of Alexander II.
