Similarities and differences of butterflies.

Butterflies are insects, so they have 3 parts of the body, 6 legs, 2 pairs of wings, spiracles on the abdomen. They belong to the order Lepidoptera, so their wings are wide, covered with scales and a sucking mouth apparatus, as they feed on nectar. Their larva is a caterpillar.
Butterflies are diurnal, like urticaria, and nocturnal, like hawk moth. Diurnal butterflies have a slender body, bright coloration and clavate antennae. While moths are not brightly colored, they have a thick, hairy body and feathery antennae.
