Similarities between ancient Persia and ancient Rome?

Similarities:

1) Both states were called empires and covered vast territories;

2) To maintain order on their lands, they were forced to maintain a huge army;

3) The ancient Romans built roads to improve logistics between cities, and the Persians also built the Royal Road;

4) The Roman and Persian empires were divided into certain regions (Rome – provinces, Persia – satrapies), in each of which there were governors. This was done in order to make it easier to manage such vast territories.
