Similarities between Assyria and Babylon:
1) The country is ruled by kings;
2) The state is formed through conquest campaigns;
3) Both states existed on the same territory.
Assyria itself was a large empire in the territory of the Ancient East in the 9-7th century BC. True, the cruel policy of its kings led to an uprising. After this uprising, the New Babylonian kingdom was created. This happened in 626 BC.
