Similarities in the natural conditions of Egypt and Mesopotamia:
The presence of large rivers: Nile (Egypt), Tigris and Euphrates (Mesopotamia);
The presence of fertile lands (frequent floods of rivers were the reason for the enrichment of lands with useful minerals.
Thus, the lands of Egypt (in the region of the Nile River), as well as the southern territories of Mesopotamia, were very favorable for the development of agriculture. Thanks to this, the inhabitants of these regions could collect large harvests.
