Social structure in the Mesolithic era.

During the Mesolithic period, people lived in small communities. Using tools of labor – microliths and bows, they got their own food. Only men went hunting. Women were left at home with children and old people. Their task was to prepare food and feed the tribe. Gradually hunting from small game, moved to a larger one. The hunters had to stick to the group so as not to be defeated by the wild beast. The tribes were nomadic. The old people were not taken to a new place, since they could die during the transition. Small children were carried in their arms, because they could not walk for a long time. Houses were built from tall sticks driven into the ground. The roofs were animal skins stretched over sticks.
