States of Latin America that gained independence in the 19th century.

Let’s start with the fact that all the countries of Latin America in the 19th century were colonies of other countries. Of course, the people who lived in these countries wanted freedom and independence. The main countries that had colonies on this mainland were Spain and Portugal. The War of Independence began in 1810 and ended in 1826. The outcome of this war was the liberation of the countries of Latin America from the colonial system.
