States on whose territory the Tiger and Euphrates rivers flow.

In the modern world, the Tigris and Euphrates flow through the territory of three countries. They originate in Turkey. The middle part of the Euphrates runs completely through Syria, while the Tigris crosses only the narrow northeastern part of this country. After that, both rivers pass into Iraqi territory, and then flow into the Persian Gulf.

In ancient times, other states existed on these lands, such as Akkad, Sumer, Babylon, Assyria, the Armenian Kingdom, Urartu, the Roman Empire and others. And the territory between these rivers has become the most ancient center of culture in Asia.
