Structural features of higher crustaceans?

The nervous system of higher crustaceans consists mainly of the brain or suprazophageal ganglia associated with the ventral nerve rod of the ganglia or the nerve center. Antennal nerves originate in the brain. The first ventral nerve center under the esophagus (subesophageal ganglion) is usually formed by the fusion of ganglia from the mandibular, maxillary, and maxillary segments, but other ganglia may be included. Often there is a chain of ganglia extending the length of the trunk. The most prominent sensory organs are compound eyes, which are very similar to flies and other insects.
