Tell me the structural features of algae.

The flora is huge, diverse and extremely large. Algae are the most ancient representatives of this kingdom on our planet. Most of these organisms live in fresh and salt water. Unlike other plants, their body is not divided into tissues and organs. It is represented by the thallus. It has no conducting vessels. Therefore, they are classified as lower plants. Their nutrition occurs by diffusion throughout the body. Some representatives have root-like outgrowths – rhizoids. Algae have a unicellular or multicellular structure.
