Tell us about the historical development of the organic world, the main stages of the evolution of microorganisms, plants, animals, fungi.

The historical development of the organic world began about 3.5 billion years ago with the emergence of the first living cell from inorganic substances through complex reactions. This event marked the beginning of the macroevolution of flora and fauna. In the process of macroevolution, eras of development are distinguished, some of which include periods. Archean era (3.5 billion years ago): the emergence of life (prokaryotes, eukaryotes, protozoa, primitive multicellular) occurs in the world of animals, photosynthesis, aerobic respiration, multicellularity appear in the world of plants. Proterozoic era (2.6 billion years ago): developed classes of invertebrates and echinoderms, the first chordates (skullless) appear; development in the world of plants is characterized by the emergence of bilateral symmetry. The Paleozoic era (579 million years) is divided into periods: Ordovician and Cambrian (the main animals are coelenterates, sponges, molluscs, all types of algae are present in the plant world), Silurian (shell fish, terrestrial plants and animals, wingless insects appear), Devonian (shellfish, trilobites, lungfish and cross-finned fish dominate, the flora is enriched with mosses, ferns, mushrooms), Carboniferous (amphibians prevail, winged insects appear, the first reptiles, seed ferns), the Permian period (marine invertebrates, sharks, ancient gymnosperms). Mesozoic era: the Triassic period (herbivorous and carnivorous reptiles, bony fish predominate, oviparous and marsupial mammals appear), the Jurassic period (the earth is inhabited by giant reptiles, modern gymnosperms are replacing the ancient gymnosperms), the Cretaceous period (small mammals, modern birds, placentals, angiosperms). Cenozoic era: Neogene and Paleogene periods (the first primates, flowering herbaceous plants), Anthropogen (modern flora and fauna).
