Tell us about the structure of the bird’s egg and the importance of its parts in the development of the embryo

Birds reproduce with eggs. The egg contains everything necessary for the development of the embryo, which at first is an embryonic disc:

– the shell protects the inner contents of the egg from drying out;

– the shell membrane, moving away from the shell, forms an air chamber for the breathing of the embryo;

– the protein creates an aquatic environment for the development of the embryo;

– the yolk contains nutrients;

– chalases (or cords) hold the yolk in the center of the egg, while the embryonic disc is always facing up.
