Tell us about the teachings of Calvin and the structure of the Calvinist church?

The central idea of the teachings of John Calvin was the idea of divine predestination. A person cannot be saved or perished by himself. It’s ordained by God.
Calvinism honored labor and wealth. Wealth was seen as the pleasing of man to God.
There were no priests in the Calvinist church. The community of believers itself chose its elders – elders, who vigilantly watched the behavior of each member of the community. Preachers-pastors were selected from among the most educated people.
