The angle of the rhombus is 140 degrees. Find the angle between the diagonal opposite to this angle

The angle of the rhombus is 140 degrees. Find the angle between the diagonal opposite to this angle and the side of the rhombus.

In a rhombus, like in any other parallelogram, opposite angles are equal in pairs, and adjacent angles add up to 180 degrees. Find the degree measure of adjacent angles:

180 – 140 = 40º.

The diagonals of the rhombus are also the bisectors of the angles from which they depart. As you know, the bisector divides the angle in half. Find the angle between the side of the rhombus and the diagonal from an angle of 40º:

40/2 = 20º.

Answer: the angle between the opposite corner of the diagonal of the rhombus 140º and the side of the rhombus is 20º.
