We have a rectangle with known area and width. Find the perimeter of the rectangle.
The area of a rectangle is the product of the width and length of the rectangle.
S = a * b;
a = S / b = 36/4 = 9 cm.
Perimeter is twice the sum of the length and width of the rectangle.
P = 2 * (a + b) = 2 * (9 + 4) = 26 cm.
