| Let x be the width of the rectangle.
Then its length is 6x.
6x * x = 54.
6x ^ 2 = 54.
x ^ 2 = 54: 6.
x ^ 2 = 9.
x = √9.
x = 3 or x = -3.
A value of -3 is not suitable because the side length of a rectangle cannot be expressed as a negative number.
Hence, the width of the rectangle is 3.
Then its length is: 6 x 3 = 18.
Find the perimeter:
(3 + 18) x 2 = 21 x 2 = 42.
Answer: The perimeter is 42.
