The barrel is filled with water. Using a bucket, the girl drew half of the water from the barrel, and the rest of the boy. Did they do one job?

The boy and girl’s job to raise the bucket:
A = F * S, where A is the work, F is the applied force, F = Ft = m * g (m is the mass of the bucket with water, g is the acceleration of gravity), S is the movement of the bucket.
For a girl and a boy, the mass of a bucket of water will be the same, therefore, they apply the same force to lift it. But since the boy had to scoop out water from the bottom half of the barrel, the value of the bucket movement will increase with decreasing water level in the barrel. Hence, the boy will do a great job.
