The volume of the prism is equal to the product of the area of the base of the prism by the height. V = Sb. * h. In a straight prism, the height is equal to the lateral edge of the prism. Hence, from this formula we find the height.

1) Find the area of the base of the straight prism.

At the base of our prism lies a right-angled triangle. The area of a right-angled triangle is half the product of its legs.
