The beginning and end of the First World War.

The First World War unfolded on July 28, 1914, after there was a perfect assassination attempt on the heir to the Austrian throne, Franz Ferdinant. The rival countries immediately declared war on each other, on the one hand France, England, Russia, on the other Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire. This conflict can also be called a war of attrition, since the technologies that made the leaps strengthened the artillery so much that they made it the master of the battlefield. Sometimes the trenches, which were dug by the soldiers in order to hide from shelling, reached 3-4 meters depth. The war ended with the victory of the Entente on November 11, 1918.
