The borders of the Egyptian kingdom in the 15th century BC extended to the Euphrates River in the north, including the lands of Nubia in the south. Thus, we can say that at that time the Egyptian kingdom was able to reach its maximum size. Particularly noteworthy is the reign of Pharaoh Thutmose 3, who was able to annex the lands of Phenicia, Palestine, Syria, the Sinai Peninsula and Nubia during long military campaigns, which caused the growth of wealth and authority of the state.
