1. Having the length of each link of the broken line ABCD, we calculate the length of the entire broken line by adding the lengths of its links. Then we get expressions for finding the length of the polyline:
Length ABCD = AB + BC + CD.
2. Based on the obtained expression, we calculate the length of the polyline, substituting the values AB, BC and CD:
ABCD length = 42mm + 38mm + 19mm = 99mm.
Answer: we got the length of the broken line equal to 99 millimeters.
