Let us determine through what number of bits it is possible to express the amount of information that a dot matrix printer prints in one second, when it is known from the job condition that it prints 64 characters per second:

64 * 8 = 512.

Let’s determine through how many bits it is possible to express the amount of information that is to be printed when it is known that it is equal to 32 Kbytes:
