The Challenges of the Dutch Revolution?

The tasks of the Dutch revolution (from 1568 to 1648, with a break in 1609-1621) can be divided into points:

1. Political – gaining independence and fighting for its recognition. This happened in 1648.

2. Religious. Calvinists fought against Spanish Catholics and their supporters.

3. Economic. Before the revolution, the territory of the country was part of the empire of the Spanish Habsburgs, as a result, it paid taxes to them.

Thus, the struggle is for economic, religious and political sovereignty.
