The circulatory system in lizards.

Lizards are reptiles. They have their own characteristics of the circulatory system. It consists of the heart and blood vessels. The heart of a reptile consists of three chambers. They connect veins and arteries together. Lizards have two circles of blood circulation – a large and a small circle. In a small circle, the blood is saturated with oxygen. Reptiles are cold blooded. Blood does not tolerate heat, but has the same temperature as the environment. In addition to transporting oxygen, the circulatory system is necessary for the transport of various substances throughout the body.
