The conductive part of the visual analyzer.

An analyzer or sensor system consists of three parts:

– peripheral – it consists of receptors of the sense organ, which convert signals from the external environment into nerve impulses;

– conductive – it is represented by a sensory nerve that conducts nerve impulses to the central nervous system;

– central – a certain area of the cerebral cortex, where the information received is decoded.

The optic nerve is the conductive part of the optic analyzer.
