Ancient civilization made a very large contribution to the development of modern civilizational systems, especially the European one. First of all, it should be remembered that it was in Athens that classical ancient democracy was born, which in a modified form dominates the modern world. Ancient inventions and discoveries are used in our time, for example: concrete, roads, city planning.
