| We will remember how to find the volume of a cube. It is necessary to multiply the edge of the figure three times. Familiar expression: “Cube”. A square has an area equal to the product of its sides, but they are the same and are the edge of a cube. If the perimeter is known, then by the formula P = 4 * and we recognize the side of the square:
a = P: 4
We have P = 36 cm, which means a = 36: 4 = 9 cm.
We calculate the volume of the cube:
V = a³ = 9 * 9 * 9 = 729 cm³
Answer: 729 cm³.
