8 = n * R ^ 3 * 4/3.

The volume of the cylinder is: Vc = Ssc * H = n * R ^ 2 * H, where R is the radius of the circle at the base of the cylinder, which is equal to the radius of the ball, H is the height of the cylinder, which is equal to the diameter of the ball.
Vts = n * R ^ 2 * 2 * R = 2 * n * R ^ 3 = 2 * n * 6 / n = 12 cm3.
Answer: The volume of the cylinder is 12 cm3.
