The distance between cities located on the same highway is 34 km. Two buses left these cities simultaneously in the same direction. The speed of the first bus is 70 km / h, the second – 40 km / h. What is the distance between them in 0.5 hours? How long will the distance between them be 94 km?

1:
1) 70-40 = 30 (km / h) speed at which the first bus is catching up with the second
2) 30 * 0.5 = 15 (km) decreased distance
3) 34-15 = 19 (km)
Answer: 19 km will be the distance between them in 0.5 hours

2:
1) 70-40 = 30 (km / h) speed at which the first bus is catching up with the second
2) 94 + 34 = 128 (km) distance
3) 128: 30 = 64: 15 (h) = 4 h (60: 15 * 4) min = 4 h 16 min
