The volume of a cube is equal to the length of its edge raised to the third power.
V of the cube = a ^ 3, where “a” is the length of the edge of the cube (all edges of the cube are equal to each other).
By the condition of the problem, the length of the edge of our cube is 4 cm. Substitute this value into the formula and solve:
V = 4 ^ 3 = 4 * 4 * 4 = 64 cm3.
Answer: the volume of the cube is 64 cm3.
