The following react with sodium hydroxide solution: 1) copper (II) sulfate 4) nitric acid 2) copper (II) oxide 5) magnesium 3) potassium hydroxide 6) carbon monoxide (IV)

1) CuSO4 + 2NaOH = Cu (OH) 2 + Na2SO4 (the reaction can proceed, since the result is a precipitate of Cu (OH) 2);

2) CuO + 2NaOH = Na2 [Cu (OH) 4] (the reaction will occur if you take a 30-40% NaOH solution);

3) KOH and NaOH will not react with each other, since both alkalis are strong, and in such cases the reaction does not take place;

4) HNO3 + NaOH = NaNO3 + H2O (this is a common neutralization reaction characteristic of alkalis);

5) Mg and NaOH also do not react with each other, since Mg is an alkaline earth metal, and they do not react with alkalis;

6) CO2 + 2NaOH = Na2CO3 + H2O (if the alkali is diluted);

CO2 + NaOH = NaHCO3 (if concentrated alkali is taken).
