The functions of visual analysis; visual impairment; its correction.
A visual analyzer is the most informative way for a person to obtain information from the surrounding world. It has a very complex structure. With the help of lenses (cornea, lens), the image enters the retina of the eye, and through the receptors (rods and cones) in the optic nerve, through the optic chiasm and the optic tract (in the brain) it enters the occipital lobes of the cerebral cortex, where the seen is formed picture. Impaired image reproduction can occur at any level of information flow, but most often it is a violation of image reception by the retina due to a change in the size of the eyeball. Myopia (lengthening of the eye) and hyperopia (shortening of the eye). Correction of these disorders consists in the selection of glasses corresponding to the existing indicators of these diseases.
