The excretory organs cleanse the human body of harmful, poisonous, foreign elements, drugs, excess fluid, heavy metal salts, carbon dioxide. These organs include: liver, kidneys, skin with sweat glands, intestines, lungs, salivary and mammary glands, pancreas. If the excretory system functions poorly, a person becomes ill and even dies from poisoning. Each organ performs its own function: the liver removes hormones, nitrogenous substances, the digestive glands – metal salts, the kidneys – water, protein metabolic products, etc.
