The grass cover can affect the soil in different ways. It all depends on the type of plant. Some herbs can literally squeeze all the juices out of the soil. This applies to various weeds and many cultivated plants. But where a person does not use the land for his own purposes, the composition of the soil is approximately the same, since the herbs themselves use substances and themselves renew the amount of fertilizers.
