Solution:
From the formula U = 3 * m * R * T / (2 * M) we find the temperature of the gas T;
3 * m * R * T = 2 * M * U;
Hence, T = 2 * M * U / (3 * m * R);
T = 2 * U / (3 * v * R) = 2 * 831 / (3 * 2 * 8.31) = 831 / (3 * 8.31) = 831/24, 93 = 33.3 K.
