The radius of a circle inscribed in a square is equal to half of the side of the square, r = a / 2

r = 8 п / 2 п = 4
4 = a / 2
a = 4 * 2 = 8 (cm) – side of the square
s = a * a = 8 * 8 = 64 (sq. cm) – square area
