Find the width of the given rectangle.
According to the condition of the problem, the length of this rectangle is 11 cm, and its width is 7 cm less, therefore, the width of this rectangle is:
11 – 7 = 4 cm.
Find the perimeter P of a given rectangle as the doubled sum of the length and width of this rectangle:
P = 2 * (11 + 4) = 2 * 15 = 30 cm.

Answer: the width of this rectangle is 4 cm, the perimeter of this rectangle is 30 cm.
