The perimeter of a rectangle is calculated as the sum of the lengths of all its sides. A rectangle has equal sides in pairs. Find the perimeter by adding the lengths of all sides:

P = 31 cm + 11 cm + 31 cm + 11 cm = 84 cm.

Also, if we know that the sides are pairwise equal, we calculate the perimeter in another way:

P = (31 + 11) * 2 = 84 cm.

Answer: P = 84 cm.
