Or:
P = 68 m * 2 + 17 m * 2 = 170 m.
Now let’s subtract the area by multiplying the length by the width. The area is indicated by a capital S.
S = 68 m * 17 m = 1156 m2.
Bottom line: the perimeter is 170 m, and the area is 1156 m2.
