1. Let’s draw a line segment AB:

2. It can be seen from the figure that the segment CD = AB – AC – DB;
3. Find: AC = AB – CB = 15 – 10 = 5 cm;
4. We find: DB = AB – AD = 15 – 12 = 3 cm;
