The length of the segment AD is 5 cm shorter than the length of the segment AB and 4 cm longer than the length of the segment AC. The length of the segment AC is 3 times less than the length of the segment CB. Find the length of line segment AB.

Since the segment AD is 4 cm longer than the length of the segment AC, it follows from this that the length of the segment CD is 4 cm.
