Muscle tissue covers almost the entire human body. Muscles are hidden under the skin and they cover the human skeleton. They are needed to ensure motor function and together with the skeleton constitute the musculoskeletal function. The heart is an organ that is made up entirely of muscle tissue. Thanks to this, the heart can contract and pump blood in our body. Another important muscle is the tongue. This is the strongest muscle in our body, as it is needed for the digestive process and with the help of the tongue we prepare food for further processing.
