The main battles and results of the centenary war between England and France.

The result of the Hundred Years War was the weakening of England. She lost all her possessions in continental Europe by 1453, except for one city – Calais, which she controlled
about another 100 years. The main battles can be divided into the 14th and 15th centuries.

XIV century:

At Crécy in 1346.
At Poitiers in 1356. In it, the French king was captured by the British.
Naval battle at La Rochelle in 1372, victory of the French and Castilian fleets over the British.

XV century:

Battle of Agincourt.
Battle of God. In 1421 the French, along with the Scots, defeated the British.
1429 – Battle of Orleans and Pathé, victory of Joan of Arc.
In 1450 and 1453 the French finally defeated the English at Formigny and Castillon.
