The main differences between the Greek Persian troops.

In history, we have often managed to trace the conflicts of such two states as the Persian Empire and Greece. We also found out what kind of troops these two states had. If we take the Persian army, then we can say that it consisted of different types of troops: infantry, heavy infantry, cavalry, archers, etc. The main difference between the Greek army was that it mainly consisted of heavy infantry – hoplites, which made up 70-80% of the entire army of Greece. The remaining 20-30% were light infantry (slingers or javelin throwers).
